Promoting Physical Activity

Overview:

"SkillsActive is not submitting a qualification structure or assessment strategy with these standards.  As such they will not form a N/SVQ.  Rather they will be stand alone NOS.  

SkillsActive is not submitting the standards at a particular level, as they do not have a qualification structure they will be level free.  

The standards will have a variety of uses and will be used in both employment and training.  Initially it is thought they will inform unaccredited training.  However SkillsActive would not prevent awarding bodies utilising the standards within their VRQ submissions.  

SkillsActive is not requesting to insert these units as additional units in any N/SVQ qualification structure at this time."
