B5 - Advise on information governance

Overview:

This standard is about advising your organisation and its customers on how information and records should be managed and used to meet the organisation’s objectives and operational needs, whilst also meeting regulatory, legislative, ethical and quality standards.  This includes advising on the governance framework for information assets and on operational practice.  The standard also includes addressing risks to the confidentiality, integrity, availability and transmission of information  and developing, managing and maintaining an effective compliance framework for information and records management.
