Overview:

This unit is aimed at those who work in cultural venues and is appropriate for you if you have contact with visitors whether they are public or colleagues from other organisations. You are expected to ‘host’ people into your venue and provide a warm welcome. You will identify the visitors’ needs and meet them to the best of your ability and where appropriate in conjunction with the rest of your team.
