This unit is about assisting with publicity activities for a live event. You need a basic knowledge of the processes involved in marketing and promotion of live events, more importantly you are expected to be innovative and to contribute ideas for alternative methods of publicity. You must be prepared to undertake a wide range of activities including searching databases, making phone calls and working with street teams.
You will be required to be enthusiastic and passionate about live events, keep up to date with current trends and be proactive in your approach to work.
